We finally got our longed-for summer. Sweden showing off its best side.
I never go on summer trips, I usually take some time off in May and September to travel, working throughout the summer. July and August are the best months to spend in Sweden so leaving at this time is very confusing to me.
Of course this year has been rainy, cloudy, dark and more rain, but now the summer finally arrived with sun, heat and long, bright evenings that never wants to end.
Yes I do work all day, but, with risk of sounding like someone from the cast of Grease – oh those summer nights…

About a week ago I was asked to write a guest blog on what to do and reveal the hidden gems in my city. Living in Malmö, Sweden I thought there is not much to write about and chose another subject.
Little did I know…
Just a couple of days later I walked in to a surprise. Malmö city has a ongoing summer event, “Sommarscen”, with free open air performances of various artists, local and more well-known. This Tuesday we were honored to welcome Eric Bibb and Habib Koite to Pildammsteatern, an open air theater in one of our beautiful parks.
Their mix of American blues and folk music together with African rhythm gave the some thousand in the audience a magical evening.
